Western Hospital has an existing Cardiac and Vascular Physician outpatient service. The development of a new Hybrid Theatre is underway which will significantly increase existing treatment options to patients who require these specialist medical and surgical treatments. This new Hybrid Theatre also encourages new Physicians to treat and manage their patients at Western Hospital and is an excellent resource for our Intensive Care Unit seeking to increase the acuity of care we offer.
This Hybrid Theatre is part of the hospital 'Masterplan' which will see further upgrades including the expansion of the hospital 'Recovery' area from 9 beds to 17 beds.
